Quiche from Provence with cherry tomatoes and basil

Being so close to the French border (Ospedaletti is only few miles from it) I couldn’t resist to go and have a look at the local farmer’s market in Menton, a small and lovely town right after the border….wow…what an amazing experience!
Hundreds of French cheeses displayed in graceful order, colorful spices for every taste, amazing fish from the sea in front of us…without mentioning the seasonal and fresh vegetables and fruit.

That’s why today we are cooking together a French recipe that can be enjoyed by your toddler (as we are using eggs, older than 1yr) and by the whole family!
The secret ingredient? French mustard with grains. It changes in a very delicate way the entire flavor of the quiche.

Enjoy it and let me know your opinion!
ciao
